Before coming to Japan, I felt anxious every day. Looking at photos of traditional Japanese soba restaurants, I wondered, "Will my language skills and manners be enough?" and "Will I be able to adjust to the Japanese way of working?"
However, once my life in Shikoku began, the owner and staff welcomed me like family. Even with the cooking tasks involving many technical terms, they taught me patiently and thoroughly.
Thanks to the regular consultations and Japanese language support from everyone at the restaurant, my greatest joy now is hearing customers say "Arigato" (Thank you) when I serve them.

While embracing my individuality, they patiently taught me everything from elegant gestures to the proper choice of words.
